The cards
Pick a person by tapping the photo on their card, the victim too. Then tap a square to put them there, or drag the photo onto it. At this difficulty the game does not cross off rows and columns for you, unless you switch on Cross off for me. Holding a square, or switching the pencil on, makes a note. Keyboard: Enter places, Shift and Enter makes a note.
- EmilySelected
She was in a corner of the sculpture garden.
- Owen
He was in the café, beside a plant.
- Sophie
She was with Dev in the café.
- Dev
He was west of Sophie.
- Nadia
She was in a corner of the painting gallery.
She was south of the curator.
- Rafi
He was in the hall, beside a plant.
- the curator
The victim. She was on the one square nobody else can have, in the same room as the murderer.
Good to know
- Beside: on one of the four squares directly above, below, left or right, in the same room. Diagonally does not count, and neither does through a wall. A window or door in the wall of your square is beside you.
- North of someone: in a higher row, in any column. The same goes for south, east and west.
- In a corner: on a square of that room where two of its walls meet. The end of a narrow corridor counts too.
Place everyone first, the victim too.
