The cards
Pick a person by tapping the photo on their card, the victim too. Then tap a square to put them there, or drag the photo onto it. At this difficulty the game does not cross off rows and columns for you, unless you switch on Cross off for me. Holding a square, or switching the pencil on, makes a note. Keyboard: Enter places, Shift and Enter makes a note.
- NaomiSelected
She was either beside a desk or the shelves.
- Hugo
He was with Boris in the suite.
He was not beside a desk, an armchair or the wardrobe.
He was west of Boris.
He was with Naomi in the suite.
- Gwen
She was in a corner of the corridor.
- Felix
He was in the kitchen, beside a table.
- Jonah
He was in the hotel room, beside an armchair.
- Boris
He was not in the hotel room.
- the chef
The victim. She was on the one square nobody else can have, in the same room as the murderer.
Good to know
- Beside: on one of the four squares directly above, below, left or right, in the same room. Diagonally does not count, and neither does through a wall. A window or door in the wall of your square is beside you.
- North of someone: in a higher row, in any column. The same goes for south, east and west.
- In a corner: on a square of that room where two of its walls meet. The end of a narrow corridor counts too.
Place everyone first, the victim too.
If it is not right yet, checking costs 30 seconds.
