Tap a square or drag Aaron. Hold for a note.
The cards
Pick a person by tapping the photo on their card, the victim too. Then tap a square to put them there, or drag the photo onto it. At this difficulty the game does not cross off rows and columns for you, unless you switch on Cross off for me. Holding a square, or switching the pencil on, makes a note. Keyboard: Enter places, Shift and Enter makes a note.
- AaronSelected
He was alone with Bethany.
He was beside the make-up table.
- Bethany
There were exactly two people in the make-up room.
She was lower down on the plan than Aaron.
- Daniel
He was on the big stage.
- Fern
She was on the big stage, beside a spotlight.
Her row lay between Harrison’s and Daniel’s.
- Harrison
He was beside the camera.
- Patty
She was in a corner of the big stage.
- Leah
The victim. She was alone with the murderer, in a room with nobody else in it.
Good to know
- Beside: on one of the four squares directly above, below, left or right, in the same room. Diagonally does not count, and neither does through a wall. A window or door in the wall of your square is beside you.
- Higher up on the plan than someone: in a higher row, in any column. The same goes for lower down, further left and further right.
- Alone: nobody else in the same room, the victim included. Alone with someone: those two, and nobody else in that room.
- In a corner: on a square of that room where two of its walls meet. The end of a narrow corridor counts too.
Place everyone first, the victim too.
