Tap a square or drag Madame Zara. Hold for a note.
The cards
Pick a person by tapping the photo on their card, the victim too. Then tap a square to put them there, or drag the photo onto it. At this difficulty the game does not cross off rows and columns for you, unless you switch on Cross off for me. Holding a square, or switching the pencil on, makes a note. Keyboard: Enter places, Shift and Enter makes a note.
- Madame ZaraSelected
She was in a corner of the carousel square.
She was either beside a stall or the balloons.
- Jamal
He was either beside the carousel or a tree.
- Adam
He was either beside the globe or a bin.
He was not beside the window, the skeleton or a bin.
- Tilly
She was in a room with one woman.
She was either beside the rope barrier or a chair.
- Ben
He was in a corner of the midway.
- Ruth
She was beside a stall.
- Emma
The victim. She was alone with the murderer, in a room with nobody else in it.
Good to know
- Beside: on one of the four squares directly above, below, left or right, in the same room. Diagonally does not count, and neither does through a wall. A window or door in the wall of your square is beside you.
- In a corner: on a square of that room where two of its walls meet. The end of a narrow corridor counts too.
- In a room with two men: exactly two men in the same room, no more and no fewer. The person themself does not count, the victim does.
Place everyone first, the victim too.
If it is not right yet, checking costs 30 seconds and does not say how many are wrong.
