Tap a square or drag Aisha. Hold for a note.
The cards
Pick a person by tapping the photo on their card, the victim too. Then tap a square to put them there, or drag the photo onto it. At this difficulty the game does not cross off rows and columns for you, unless you switch on Cross off for me. Holding a square, or switching the pencil on, makes a note. Keyboard: Enter places, Shift and Enter makes a note.
- AishaSelected
She was in the portrait gallery, beside the rope barrier.
- Billy
He was in a corner of the modern wing.
- Flora
Her column lay between Billy’s and Jacob’s.
- Jacob
He was beside the globe.
- Lily
She was alone with Flora.
She was beside the window.
- Rhys
He was in the portrait gallery or in the map room.
- Oscar
The victim. He was on the one square nobody else can have, in the same room as the murderer.
Good to know
- Beside: on one of the four squares directly above, below, left or right, in the same room. Diagonally does not count, and neither does through a wall. A window or door in the wall of your square is beside you.
- Alone: nobody else in the same room, the victim included. Alone with someone: those two, and nobody else in that room.
- In a corner: on a square of that room where two of its walls meet. The end of a narrow corridor counts too.
Place everyone first, the victim too.
If it is not right yet, checking costs 30 seconds.
