- MaxSelected
He was in a corner of the woods.
He was not beside the bridge, a tree or the water.
- Fay
She was in the same room as Sam.
- Sam
He was at the lake, beside the window.
- Amir
He was in a corner of the jetty.
- Isabel
She was alone.
- the lifeguard
The victim. He was on the one square nobody else can have, in the same room as the murderer.
Good to know
- Beside: on one of the four squares directly above, below, left or right, in the same room. Diagonally does not count, and neither does through a wall. A window or door in the wall of your square is beside you.
- Alone: nobody else in the same room, the victim included. Alone with someone: those two, and nobody else in that room.
- In a corner: on a square of that room where two of its walls meet. The end of a narrow corridor counts too.
