The cards
Pick a person by tapping the photo on their card, the victim too. Then tap a square to put them there, or drag the photo onto it. At this difficulty the game does not cross off rows and columns for you, unless you switch on Cross off for me. Holding a square, or switching the pencil on, makes a note. Keyboard: Enter places, Shift and Enter makes a note.
- BorisSelected
He was not beside a seat, the window or an armchair.
He was in the same room as Naomi.
- Owen
He was on the stage, beside the piano.
- Naomi
She was in the bottom row.
- Faris
He was alone.
- Hugo
He was either beside a crate or the coat rack.
He was with Boris in the foyer.
- Lara
She was in a corner of the foyer.
- the diva
The victim. She was alone with the murderer, in a room with nobody else in it.
Good to know
- Beside: on one of the four squares directly above, below, left or right, in the same room. Diagonally does not count, and neither does through a wall. A window or door in the wall of your square is beside you.
- Alone: nobody else in the same room, the victim included. Alone with someone: those two, and nobody else in that room.
- In a corner: on a square of that room where two of its walls meet. The end of a narrow corridor counts too.
Place everyone first, the victim too.
If it is not right yet, checking costs 30 seconds.
