Tap a square or drag Theo. Hold for a note.
The cards
Pick a person by tapping the photo on their card, the victim too. Then tap a square to put them there, or drag the photo onto it. At this difficulty the game doesn’t cross off rows and columns for you, unless you switch on Cross off for me. Holding a square, or switching the pencil on, makes a note. Keyboard: Enter places, Shift and Enter makes a note.
- TheoSelected
He was in the same column as the armchair.
- Wren
She was either beside a floor lamp or beside the hot tub.
- Amara
She was in a corner of the fireside room.
- Callum
He was not beside the fireplace, a floor lamp or a chair.
He was in the bunk room, beside a bunk bed.
- Nadia
She was in a room with the cooker.
- Rosa
She was the only person on a bench.
- Mr Baker
The victim. He was on the one square nobody else can have, in the same room as the murderer.
Good to know
- Beside: on one of the four squares directly above, below, left or right, in the same room. Diagonally doesn’t count, and neither does through a wall. A window or door in the wall of your square is beside you.
- In a corner: on a square of that room where two of its walls meet. The end of a narrow corridor counts too.
- The only person in a chair (or on a couch, bed or rug): nobody else is on one, in any room.
